Meet Heather Durenberger: a beacon of inspiration, a nurturing guide, and a storyteller of human potential. With a heart as expansive as her favorite proverb – “If your vision is for a year, plant wheat. If your vision is for ten years, plant trees. If your vision is for a lifetime, plant people” – Heather lives and breathes the art of nurturing growth.
Her mission? Simple yet profound: to meet people where they are, unearth their hidden gems, and remind them of their inherent beauty. Imagine gatherings where laughter dances with introspection, stories flow freely, and each human is honored and celebrated.
When not nurturing hearts and minds through storytelling, Heather consults with nonprofit board and leadership teams focusing on strategy and high-performing boards. Her passion is guiding nonprofit leaders through local cohort groups and teaching graduate students at St. Mary’s University, infusing her warmth and wisdom. She advises leadership teams, shares stories of resilience, and is armed with dual master's degrees. For more information on her consulting please go to her website: www.watsondurenberger.com
Amidst her roles, Heather cherishes her title as a proud wife and momma to four incredible humans and her 100-pound black Lab Scout. A self-proclaimed nerd, her home brims with cherished books. She loves to volunteer and encourages others to volunteer and serve others.
